Koshoy-Korgon Mound
Koshoy-Korgon mound is another historical landmark of Kyrgyzstan. It is located near the village of At-Bashi. In VII-X this fort was a fortress for Turkic rulers. According to the legend, Kosh, an associate of Manas, built this fortress and therefore the settlement was called Koshoi-Korgon, which means “fortress” in Russian. Now on the site of the fortress, a museum is opened in which archaeological artifacts collected from the entire Naryn region are collected. In the museum you can see all the objects of labor, weapons and household items VII-X century.
