- Issyk-Kul region
- Barskoon syrty
The highway connecting the Barskoon pass (3754 m) through the gorge Barskoon with the Issyk-Kul hollow and the high-mountain point of the Inner Tien Shan. The southern slope of the pass is shallow, gradually turning into cheese. Syrty mountain plains. Here the wind is constantly blowing, cold prevails - the average annual temperature is -7-8 degrees Celsius. The harsh climate largely speaks of the plant world: there are no trees and shrubs, only thick grasses, mosses and lichens grow. Such beauty is rarely seen. Here, at an altitude of 4000 m, small lakes with strikingly transparent water are perfectly combined with each other, unimaginable green-brown expanses with grazing argali and ice caps, which seem very close.
