The amazing landscapes of Konorchek canyons are reminiscent of the Great Canon, and together they carry a significant part of the unique nature of Kyrgyzstan. This fabulous place is located 125 km from the capital, in the gorge Bum. You can go to the Canyons only through a labyrinth of rocks along the bed of the dried river. Rocky columns of red sandstone stretch for miles. This time it seems to stop, and it’s impossible to stop looking. A special attraction of the canyons is an extinct volcano, whose age is estimated at 2.5-3 million years. The climate in the Konorchek canyons is rather unusual and unique: in the summer it is very hot and dry here, it is cold in winter, but there is almost no precipitation.
