Sarkent National Natural Park is located in the territory of the Lyalak district of the Batken region. The total area of the park is more than 40 thousand hectares. The main task of preserving the natural park is the preservation of biological diversity and natural complexes. The park is inhabited by animals listed in the Red Book: snow leopard, lynx, brown bear, golden eagle, saker falcon, cumae.
On the territory of Sarkent there are five beautiful lakes and massive juniper forests.
